Paul Duncan, a senior design technologist and accessibility advocate at Amazon. He will be speaking on designing innovative and accessible products. A really interesting talk discussing how necessity is the mother of invention among other topics.

Iain Mckinnon is the Co-founder and Director of Operations for the CIC, Iain also leads on Inclusive Design for Global Disability and Innovation Hub at UCL. Teaching and leading Inclusive Design research and consultancy work. Iain brings considerable experience working on Inclusive Design as both a consultant and client. He led on Inclusive Design for the development of Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park as part of the London 2012 Paralympic Legacy programme, producing the Inclusive Design Standards and facilitating the Built Environment Access Panel as part of his work.

Robin Christopherson our next speaker, of the leading UK inclusive tech experts AbilityNet has featured in World’s 100 Most Influential People in Digital Government, been awarded an MBE for services to digital inclusion, won the Special Award at the Tech4Good Awards (previous winners include Professor Stephen Hawking) and been a judge at the prestigious Mobile World Congress for the last 5 years running Robin will thoroughly and wonderfully blast away any preconceptions you may have about the potential of technology to deliver a truly inclusive digital experience for everyone. From AI to robots, from apps to wearables he'll be showing how inclusive technology has the power to change and even transform people's lives regardless of ability or environment.

I am very excited to introduce Dr Fiona Truscott, who will be walking you through the design process. Dr Fiona is a senior research fellow at the faculty of engineering at University college london, where she has been awarded the UCL Engager of the Year Award for her work

We will now have a session digging deeper and discussing what disability actually means and how we can work with people as part of the participatory and co-design process with Daniel Dominey. Daniel is president of Project Impactive, a non-profit organisation that works with engineering students to design and build accessibility equipment using participatory design principles. He is also part of the young disabled advisory group at the department of education.

Dr. Matteo is is an inclusive research design research fellow at the University of Cambridge as well as an award-winning designer, UX researcher and adjunct professor. Matteo is also a UX design researcher at Stanford University’s Autonomous Systems Laboratory and the founder of the startup Déan Design Lab. As a curious researcher, passionate inventor and UX design strategist he has developed an extensive track record in creative thinking to understand and incorporate complex technical requirements into research with the goal to improve people’s lives through inclusive futuristic solutions.
